Shirred Paisley Skirt
I have just decided to keep track of what I am sewing for my
daughter. I love the idea of seeing my progress as a beginning sewer.
This is a store bought shirt. The skirt is my first attempt at
shirring (smocking). I was a little nervous attempting but once I did the first
row I realized it was very easy once I was sewing about 10 rows I steamed the
elastic and it shrunk the waist.
